Hebrew School
The Shalom Hebrew School, of B’nai Shalom Congregation, is a Jewish supplemental school dedicated to creating a caring and supportive environment for excellence in Jewish education. We emphasize Tefillah – (prayer study), Mitzvot – (observance and practice of the commandments and good deeds), Gemulit Chassadim – (acts of loving kindness). study of Bible, Jewish history, heritage and tradition, and in depth study of modern Israel.
We are committed to enhancing the full intellectual and spiritual potential of each student, recognizing that students have varied learning styles and abilities. To this end we maintain small classes in which each student receives individualized support.
The Shalom Hebrew School welcomes students from first grade through Bar/Bat Mitzvah class, and meets once per week for a two hour session held at our Vista location. Current tuition is $300 per year.
